When you work with me, your session is shaped around you—your body, your history, your goals, and what you’re currently navigating.

We may work with somatic bodywork, nervous system regulation, sound, or shamanic elements—but how those are applied will always depend on what is most supportive for you in that moment.

YOUR FIRST SESSION: BUILDING THE FOUNDATION

 

All new clients begin with a 2-hour initial session:

  • 60-minute consultation

  • 60-minute treatment

This is intentional.

We’re not just addressing symptoms—we’re building a foundation. During this session, we gather the information needed to understand how your body is holding patterns, where your nervous system is operating from, and what approach will actually create change.

This foundation allows the work moving forward to be targeted, effective, and sustainable—whether your focus is physical pain, emotional processing, or deeper personal transformation.

Sessions are collaborative. You’re encouraged to communicate, ask questions, and stay connected to what you’re experiencing.

  • Integration is part of the process—sometimes things continue to unfold after you leave

  • Recommendations for session frequency or next steps will be discussed if appropriate and homeowrk assigned if needed

BEFORE SESSION

DO I NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M COMING IN FOR? 

No. You don’t need to have a clear or perfectly articulated goal before booking. Many people come in with a general sense that something feels off—this could be physical tension, chronic pain, emotional overwhelm, or a feeling of being stuck. Part of this work is identifying what your body is holding and where to begin. The initial consultation is designed to help uncover patterns you may not yet have words for.

WHAT IF I’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED SOMATIC WORK, SOUND HEALING, OR SHAMANIC HEALING BEFORE?

That’s completely okay—and very common. Nothing is expected of you. Everything is explained as we go, and your session is guided at a pace your nervous system can safely integrate. There is no pressure to understand everything upfront or to “get it right.”

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SERVICE TO BOOK?

You don’t need to choose between services. All sessions are integrative and customized. Your first visit is structured to assess your body, nervous system, and goals so we can determine what approach—or combination of approaches—will be most effective for you.

SESSION STRUCTURE & APPROACH

WHY IS THE FIRST SESSION 2 HOURS? Because we are not just addressing surface-level symptoms—we are building a foundation for meaningful change. The first 60 minutes are dedicated to a comprehensive consultation, which includes intake, postural analysis, body mapping, and nervous system evaluation. This allows us to understand how your body is holding patterns and where dysfunction or compensation may be occurring. The second 60 minutes is a customized treatment based on what we find. Without this level of assessment, treatment becomes guesswork. This structure ensures your care is targeted, intentional, and effective.

WHAT MAKES YOUR APPROACH DIFFERENT FROM A STANDARD MASSAGE OR HEALING SESSION?

This work looks at the body, nervous system, and deeper patterns together—not in isolation. Rather than applying a routine or protocol, sessions are guided by what your body is communicating in real time. This may include physical tension, nervous system responses, emotional holding patterns, or deeper subconscious imprinting. The goal is not just temporary relief—it’s creating lasting change by working with the root of what is being held.

WILL EVERY SESSION BE THE SAME?

No. Your body is not static, and neither is the work. Each session builds on the previous one and adapts to what is present for you that day. As your system changes, the approach evolves with it.

CAN I COMBINE DIFFERENT MODALITIES IN ONE SESSION?

Yes. Sessions are naturally integrative. Depending on your needs, your session may include somatic bodywork, nervous system regulation, sound healing, or shamanic elements. These are not separate services—they are tools used intentionally to support your process.

DURING THE SESSION 

WILL THIS FEEL LIKE A MASSAGE?

At times, it may feel similar to massage, but the intention is different. This work goes beyond muscle manipulation. It focuses on how your body is holding tension, patterns, and stored responses. The pace may be slower, more intentional, and at times more interactive than a traditional massage.

DO I NEED TO TALK DURING THE SESSION?

Only as much as feels natural. Some sessions involve conversation, especially during the consultation or when tracking sensations. Others are quieter and more body-focused. There is no expectation to perform, explain, or process verbally unless you want to.

WHAT IF EMOTIONS COME UP DURING MY SESSION?

That is a normal and valid part of this work. The body and nervous system often store experiences that are not purely physical. As tension releases or patterns shift, emotions may surface. You are supported in whatever arises, without pressure to analyze or resolve it in the moment.

WILL ANYTHING BE DONE WITHOUT MY CONSENT?

No. This is a collaborative process. Everything is communicated clearly, and your comfort, boundaries, and autonomy are always respected. You are encouraged to speak up at any point during the session.

AFTER THE SESSION

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER MY SESSION?

Responses vary from person to person. You may feel relaxed, grounded, more aware of your body, or notice a shift in pain or tension. Some people feel energized, while others feel the need to rest. It’s also common for things to continue unfolding in the hours or days following your session as your system integrates the work.

IS IT NORMAL TO FEEL SORE OR EMOTIONAL AFTERWARD?

Yes. This can happen as your body processes and reorganizes. Physical soreness may occur depending on the type of work done. Emotional responses can also arise as your nervous system shifts. These are typically temporary and part of the integration process.

WILL ONE SESSION BE ENOUGH?

Typically? no. That depends on your goals and what your body is holding. Some people experience noticeable shifts after one session. Most benefit from ongoing work to address deeper or more complex patterns. We will discuss recommendations based on your individual needs.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing that allows you to move and relax easily.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME IN?

This varies depending on your goals, condition, and how your body responds. Some clients come weekly or biweekly when working through active issues. Others come monthly for maintenance or continued support.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

No. Services are not covered by insurance.
